The Occupational Safety and Health Administration's
(OSHA) mission is to save lives, prevent injuries, and protect
the health of America's workers. To achieve this goal, federal
and state governments have established numerous safety standards
for employers. At Lighthouse Risk Management, we offer a variety
of policies and programs that enable you to comply with OSHA
regulations while keeping employees safe.
At Lighthouse, our goal is to ensure that our clients have
the right tools to be OSHA compliant and to minimize the
potential risk of future accidents. With each program comes
with a presentation, handout, employee sign-in sheet, and
an employee quiz. We can give you the tools to present to
your employees or we can come in and do it for you. The
following are some of the programs available:
Hazard Communication Policy
A policy designated to ensure that: hazardous substances
present in the workplace are identified and labeled; employees
have easy access to information on the hazards of these
substances; and that they are given information on how to
prevent injury or illness due to exposure to such hazards.
Bloodborne Pathogens
An exposure control plan designed to eliminate or minimize
employee occupational exposure to blood or other bodily
fluids.
Personal Protective Equipment Program
A program that establishes minimum personal protective equipment
requirements to be followed when performing tasks in which
hazards are present or likely to be present.
Fall Protection Program

designed to prevent injury to employees who are required
to perform elevated work activities (greater than six feet).
